The role documents defects, completes required forms, and follows all safety and environmental procedures while working around heavy equipment outdoors. <br> <br> <strong>Safety Lane Responsibilities</strong><ul> <li> Perform visual inspections of tractors and trailers for loose, worn, leaking, or damaged components </li> <li> Inspect tires for proper inflation and wear </li> <li> Check all fluid levels and add fluids as needed </li> <li> Fuel tractors and fill DEF tanks </li> <li> Complete Safety Lane inspection forms and daily summaries </li> <li> Document all defects by completing Driver Repair Request forms and submit to the Shop Manager or Shop Foreman </li> <li> Maintain a clean and organized work area, free of debris </li> <li> Comply with all company safety, environmental, and operational procedures </li> <li> Use all required personal protective equipment (PPE) </li> </ul><strong>Fuel Island Attendant Responsibilities</strong> <ul> <li> Fuel tractors safely and efficiently </li> <li> Fill DEF tanks and check basic fluid levels </li> <li> Monitor fuel island for leaks, spills, or safety hazards </li> <li> Maintain cleanliness of fuel island area, including spill containment </li> <li> Report equipment issues or fuel system problems to maintenance </li> <li> Follow all fuel-handling, environmental, and fire safety procedures </li> <li> Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times </li> </ul> Pay Range: 17.45-24.18 per_hour, General Benefits:<ul> <li><strong>Benefits Available (Medical/Dental/Vision/401K Match)</strong></li> <li><strong>Paid Vacation and Holidays</strong></li> </ul><br><br><ul> <li> High school diploma or equivalent </li> <li> Valid driver's license (CDL not required) </li> <li> Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift more than 50 lbs </li> <li> Ability to work outdoors and around heavy equipment </li> <li> Ability to follow written and verbal safety instructions </li> </ul>Note: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
